This guide will show you how to configure 3CX in Internet Explorer 10 and 11 in order to display your 3CX Web Management Console correctly.
3CX Web Management Console in Internet Explorer 10
- Open Internet Explorer and in the URL address field type http://PBXip:5000/management/ and press “Enter“.
- If you have not used this guide before to tweak Internet Explorer to display the 3CX Web Management Console then you will see a white blank page in your Internet Explorer browser instead of the 3CX Web Management console.
- For Internet Explorer 10 to display the 3CX Web Management Console correctly, press the Compatibility View button as shown above.
- The page will reload and your 3CX Web Management Console will be displayed correctly. You may now log in to the 3CX Management Console. You will not need to repeat this procedure again since Internet Explorer will remember your Compatibility View Settings.
3CX Web Management Console in Internet Explorer 11
- Open Internet Explorer and in the URL address field type http://PBXip:5000/management/ and press “Enter“.
- If you have not used this guide before to tweak Internet Explorer to display the 3CX Web Management Console correctly then you will see a warning on the page stating “the site does not support this browser” as shown in the above image.
- To fix this error click on the Settings icon on the upper right corner of your Internet Explorer 11 browser and select the Compatibility View Settings options.
- In the Compatibility View Settings Window that will appear, the IP address of your PBX should already be selected in the Add this website field as shown above to the left. Click the Add button to add your PBX IP to the Compatibility View list (left image above). Once your PBX IP address is added to the list press the Close button (right image above).
- The 3CX Web Management Console web page will reload and you will see the log in menu appear. You will not need to repeat this procedure again since Internet Explorer will remember your Compatibility View Settings.
